Bio: I am a lifelong writer and a retired science education specialist. Currently, I work as a writer for G&L Farms, where I keep a chronicle of and capture reflections on daily life on a horse and cattle ranch. I also write a weekly column, Little Green Notebook, for a local newspaper, The Auburn Villager. Among other freelance work, I am a regular contributor to Magnolia and Moonshine, a print magazine out of Seale, Alabama. I’ve been a member of a writers group, The Mystic Order of East …Read More Alabama Fiction Writers, for about 20 years, and have co-authored three anthologies with the Mystics. I have dabbled in screenwriting for Steve Trash Science, a children’s educational television show, and have written copious science educational training guides.
Most of my writing is a hybrid of natural science and memoir, drawing on rich personal experiences with the natural world providing a casual yet informative backdrop to my observations and reflections.
